You revealed your hidden piano skills on TV. Is there anything you want to play for your future girlfriend?
I used to play the piano whenever I had time to spare, so my friends are kind of sick of it. To my girlfriend, I want to show a different side to me rather than just playing the piano. I'd probably play one of my compositions or find out her favourite song beforehand and play that.
Are there any hardships as a leader?
To be honest, there hasn't been any particularly hard time so far. Even though we're all friendly with each other, we respect each others' privacy. Even though the younger ones still talk formally to me, we're close enough to share secrets. I got close to the guys the same age as me whilst giving advice when they made mistakes. I like meal times the best because that's when we can talk to each other the most. And even if we are busy on a particular day, we always end it by talking.
'Yang Samjoo' is your most famous nickname. It derived from your mistake when you said that you debuted 3 weeks beforehand when you actually debuted 3 days beforehand. Do you remember any other incidents when you made a mistake because you were so nervous?
The 'Yang Samjoo' incident wasn't actually a mistake. Our debut stage was on Rain's concert so I based it around that, but normally people count a 'debut stage' as the one broadcasted on TV. It's actually my favourite nickname. There's something that Mir always says which is that anything with 'Yang' automatically sticks. A couple of weeks ago, we had to give new years' greetings. I accidentally said 'Sae Chun Nyun' (new millenium) instead of 'Saehae' (new year), so the name 'Yang Saechunnyun' stuck.
